The Path of the Adventurer
Here is an epic fantasy story set in my D&D world that I wrote not only for fans of RPGs and fantasy in general, but for all my friends. This story about my character Erion, a young elven warrior; and his many allies and enemies in the kingdom of Briarbeth. In this vast story, you'll meet daring heroes, joy-bringing mages, ruthless orcs and more. This novel has a multitude of inspirations and influences, chief among them being Dungeons and Dragons, The Lord of the Rings & The Hobbit, and The Legend of Zelda. I even take cues from anime such as Little Witch Academia, and favorite video games like Super Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and various JRPGs like Chrono Trigger. Look closely, and you may find subtle references to some of the aforementioned franchises at different points in the book :) Just a little warning: The story, especially the first couple of chapters, starts off with a several common fantasy tropes and clichés at first glance (e.g. elves and orcs, an old wizard with a pointy hat and a grey beard, taking treasure from dragon etc.), but it will grow into something a bit more unique as the story progresses. Please forgive my usage of Tolkienesque tropes, as I came up with the concept of the series when I was only fourteen (At the time I was making it in the style of old school fantasy, so what can you expect :p). Even I, as the creator will say it is cliched or stereotypical in some aspects. I only refuse to change them due to spending a lot of time with them during my high school years (And tbh i love elves/dwarves/orcs fantasy). With that aside, I hope that you will love my fantasy universe full of adventure and lore. Now sit back, relax, and embrace yourself for a magical adventure with Erion and his friends! This story is inspired by ancient China and doesn't have a specific time period it plays out in (remember that it's a fantasy world and not meant to be 100% history accurate, it's a world I made not a documentary lol) and all characters are my own and I do not allow for them to be used (fanart or fanfics are okay as long as you give credit!), I cannot say more than that without spoiling everything! but if you enjoy reading Danmei you will surely love this! I am actively working on getting my drawings in the chapters! and I use modern (not American) time and measurement increments so that nobody has to go and google it just to keep reading lol A GENERAL TW: there is gore, SA, torture, just in general gruesome stuff but it's all part of the story line and things WILL get better, there is both a ton of hurt and a ton of comfort so do not worry! If you read this I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

My name is Tamaka Ranmaru. We've been at war since before I was born. It isn't a choice that I have to fight. Anyone old enough has to be a soldier. They claim we're saving the world by fighting, but we're just sent to die. We are only kids, after all. The world is slowly dying along with us. The only reason I live is to be a sacrifice in hopes we'd win this war. I'm thrown onto the front lines and I'm not sure if I'll survive. There is no glory or heroism in battle, there's only death. While casually reading a DanMachi FanFiction on the toilet, I suddenly found myself yanked into Orario, standing right in the Daedalus Street. Gone were the comforts of modern home, just me, my half-pulled-up pants, and the terrifying realization that I was now a clueless adventurer in a world filled with gods, dungeons, and deadly monsters. With no backup plan, I had to figure out how to survive in this fantasy realm-or risk becoming just another nameless casualty in the depths of the Dungeon! Wait... why is the Main character of the series gender bent?!....wait why is the people supposed to be dead still alive!? wait...am I...In A fanfiction?
Wait! I'm not a Demigod, I'm a Gamer!
A young girl named Sakura lived as a normal high school student with her siblings until one day she was taken away from them. Saving a life ended up making her worthy. Worthy of what you may ask. Well, turning her into her avatar from her favorite video game in another world of course. This is all good except her avatar is named Yuuya, a male fox beastman, with high magic abilities and unique tools. Not only that, the world she's been transported to is filled with not just humans, but also nonhumans such as elves, demons, fairies, and other beastmen that don't get along with each other and are afraid of a special species known as dragons, a type of demigod. How is the newly born hero suppose to bring the world back together and defeat the dragons? By becoming another type of demigod herself: a kitsune, the symbol of peace that has sworn to protect the residents of this world from chaos and destruction. Luckily, everyone believes in the prophecy told by the last kitsune and Yuuya fits the bill perfectly. Now, if only she could believe in the prophecy as well.
