Carson is 17 and lives in Detroit. She absolutely loves the king of rap; Eminem. And though she would never admit it, she is on the verge of breaking. Her parents couldn't care less about her and no one at her school will even look her way. That is with the exception of her best-and only-friend Hailie. Carson and Hailie are inseparable. The only time you could see them apart is when they're near their families. Niether girl has met the other's family. But what happens when Carson finds out a huge secret that Hailie has kept from her? It seems as though only time will tell and only music will keep them sane.
