Imagine this...
You have a life of a normal teenager. Have the bad things in life like complaining about your family, or even how annoying your sibling are. Also, enjoying the little things that makes life living for like your friends that you have gained over the past few years. Even the special someone that adores you like a Goddess. He has been by your side for the longest time, and you couldn't picture your life without him.
Anyone could imagine this..but what if you have a hearing disability for as long as you could remember. You have always been told you are just like everyone else.
Seems like it's not a big deal.
Until one day, you wake up and you couldn't hear the familiar chirping of the birds outside your window, or the footsteps of your family roaming through the house.
You can't hear a single sound.

Have you ever had one of those terrible yet annoyingly pivotal moments? You know, that monumental fragment of time that flips everything you have ever known. That plot twist second that completely takes you by surprise. The one just before the storm hits and everything goes to hell. Yes? Because you see, that moment happens to be my whole damn life. It wasn't always like this though. I used to have a pretty mundane existence, happy to just get good grades and be around my friends. God I wish I could get that simplicity back, I'd never complain it was boring again. But I know I'm not going to ever get back my old life because well... I died. (Kinda) But I woke up. And I was thrilled, beyond grateful I wasn't dead. But then I realized that there was one minor detail that had changed about my reality. I was given the chance to live but it turns out I woke up as the villainess in an otome game my friend used to be obsessed with - Kingdom of freaking Hearts (I added the freaking in there for effect, it's just Kingdom of Hearts) Where, for the record, the villainess only has two possible endings 1) execution and 2) getting exiled. So Fate was like, "Don't worry, I'll save you. Here's a chance to live" and then was like "psyche, screw you. You're still going to die but I'll let you suffer a little first." So now, if only to annoy Fate by proving it wrong, I am determined to survive. I can and I will if I play by these simple rules: 1) Befriend Heroin 2) Avoid Aryn Edwards at All Costs as well as other capture targets And 3) Be the top student at the academy and become an invaluable asset to my Kingdom so I become indispensable, thus unkillable. I'm determined, stubborn, persistent and I will live passed 16. Fate made a big mistake setting me up to die. Since it threw this plot twist at me, I figure I'll return the favor. I'll be the biggest plot twist Fate never saw coming...

Friends. That's what they always had been, whenever either of them had problems they told each other from a very young age. Always sticking together with seemingly no problems, if only they knew just how quickly that could all change. Him. Yet somehow they went so well together. It was fate. So, was it fate then, when on his sixteenth birthday, this boy...found his side. Only it wasn't angel by any means. It was pure and utter demon. Killing his human family in a rage after they'd brought him up for so long, he went to her next. The friend he'd relied on for so long, yet there was pure hate in his eyes. He blamed her for everything. He hated her with a passion. She was an angel and, she was hidden on Earth when in reality. She should of been a slave like the rest of them. She need to be taught her place, underneath him. She was to become his slave, everything in these past sixteen years now meant nothing to him. Star is a different type of girl. Ever since she got detached from her divorced, emotionally unavailable parents, she's been filling up her quiet, lonely world with music and dancing. That's until one fateful day when she meets a cocky, narcissistic, though really cute guy at her favourite fro yo shop who gets under her skin for just being himself. She absolutely detests guys like him. Absolutely gorgeous, frustratingly charming, cocky as hell and shockingly talented at music. That's right. Star discovers that this seemingly unbearable guy loves music almost as much as she does and just that single fact makes her heart soften a little so she lets her guard down for just a tiny bit. But after that one moment that she decides to let it down, she realises that she can't get it back up again.
