Lori is a fifteen year old girl who has been living in the woods for the past three years. Her parents were taken from her long ago, and she has yet to discover the reason why. Lori had a twin sister named Lilly. Lilly was a strong leader, and Lori has always been her shadow, her follower, and sometimes she just faded into the distance as Lilly showed her how to live life. But now, Lori is on her own, longing for Lilly to be there beside her and show her what to do. For three years, Lori has been a lone survivor, living off the plantation of the woods, and the fear of the unknown. Now Lori has to face her fears and go off into the real world alone. Along the way, she realizes the gift she's always had, and that her sister really never did leave her side.
