Evie Robinson is a girl who's childlike innocence makes her immature. She's a good girl in a world that trouble and evils don't reach her. Jack Taylor is trouble. He's bad news. He smokes, drinks, sneaks outs every night, and doesn't care about anyone or anything that isn't part of his gang. When Evie's parents move from London, England to Mora, Minnesota, Evie's new neighbor is Jack whose taken a liking to her as his prey. Evie wants to see the world. She wants to know the world out of her childlike innocence. To see what dangers and evil life has. Jack Taylor hears Evie's wish and decides on playing around with her. He just doesn't know that he's playing with a innocent and kind girl's heart who can't keep him out of her thoughts. He doesn't expect that he will fall for her as well. Innocent and Immature meets Dark and Dangerous. Jack starts teaching Evie about the world but with everything he does. He realizes that Evie doesn't need the pain of the world. That she should be immature and innocent. Just will it be too late or will he be just right?
