Gerard Way was put in to a mental hospital two years ago for killing somebody. Frank arrives one day due to suicidal thoughts that have been haunting him for years. They get closer each day and reveal to each other their innermost secrets. Gerard is a sociopath though. Sociopaths' intentions are never good.

Though, he has a bit of an edgy attitude most people learn to respect. There's more to Gerard than what the outside shows. His brother Mikey and best friend Ray know glimpses of how he really feels, and how complications from the past really fuck with his behavior. But, their differences don't keep them apart considering these strangers are forced into each other's lives when Gerard finds Frank attempting to commit suicide.
