My name is Madi. I am 14 and I live in Paradise, Illinois. When I was about 7, my older sister, Lexi, which was 16 at the time ran away and wanted to start a new life with her boyfriend. A couple years later, my dad was reported missing. It was like he fell of the end of the Earth. And when I was 10, my little sister, Emily, who was 5 at the time, was diagnosed with cancer. We were told she only had two weeks to live. About 8 days later, she was dead. So it was only my mom and me. Ever since all of that happened, my mother had been slowly drinking her life away. Here is my story.

❝We are never going to be family.❞ • • • Three half-siblings, living in different situations, with enough hate to kill each other. By some joke of the universe, they find themselves in the same city. Meeting again under shitty circumstances, with a lot of shitty issues, they get themselves into more trouble than they are ready for. What happens when everything goes to hell in one single night and they run into each other on the corner of sixth street at half-past three? Well, gasoline never did go well with a raging fire, but they never did care if the world burned. ▫▫▫▫ ▫▫▫▫ ▫▫▫▫ Cover is made by me.
