Amelie was seventeen when Loki found her and took her captive. She wasn't anything but human at the time so she was useless, so she thought. Loki took up an opportunity to create a super human with limitless strengths and power. Only after his experiment failed did he realize that He had ruined Amelie's life thus turning her into a "monster". Amelie in raged escaped and is now an eighteen year old girl able to defy objects around her, change her identity and physical appearance, read peoples thoughts and change the weather with her feelings and mind. She thus gives herself a new name Daz. Once she is found by the Avengers themselves they debate wether she is there to help or cause destruction amongst them.
