"And We have made some of you a trial for others. Will you ˹not then˺ be patient?" The first time I read this ayah in surah Furqaan, I had no idea it defined my future so clearly. ********** Hafiz Hakimi;- A 26-year-old Nigerian-American who grew up believing those who worshipped something they couldn't see were crazy motherfuckers. But it wasn't like he would go out of his way to tell them his opinion. His life was perfect, a routine of work, party, fuck, sleep, and repeat. His only source of annoyance was the woman whose vagina he popped out of, but even she was very far away from him. Life was good, everything was great. Until one fateful trip to Nigeria, his home country, set off a tornado that wrecked his mundane to pieces. Aliya Suleiman;- A 22-year-old hafiza whose only goal was to finish studying medicine, the devil's course. She only planned to get married after making her first million dollars, a feat her best friend Jasra said was impossible. She wasn't offended of course, because she never planned to get married. And if she did, it would be to someone more pious than her, mature and respectful; indulging. But then the one person she couldn't say no to begged her with tears in her eyes to marry her son. She was the woman who raised her and provided for her mother and her. There was no way she could refuse. It was the worst thing to have ever happened to both of them. A sudden downpour on an otherwise clear sunny day. He wasn't anywhere near the kind of man she imagined herself with. She was the woman raised by the person he hated the most. It was basically a recipe for disaster. She saw him as a way to repay a favour. He wanted to use her to get revenge. And as such, the stage was set and the curtains lifted. ___ ⚠️⚠️⚠️: UPDATES ON MONDAYS AND THURSDAYS ___ 🚨 This is entirely a work of fiction. My grandmother used to give me a spoon of honey every morning before I collect myself for school. I wondered why had she incited on doing this? And I asked her one day when I ditched myself from tiring school day. She replied it has many benefits according to The words of Allah. She recited from the Qur'an : { And your Lord inspired to the bee, "Take for yourself among the mountains, houses, and among the trees and [in] that which they construct. (28) Then eat from all the fruits and follow the ways of your Lord laid down [for you]." There emerges from their bellies a drink, varying in colors, in which there is healing for people. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who give thought. (29 } [ Qur'an Surah An-Nahl] Then she said in touched tone "It's one of the Miracles that has been mentioned. Make sure to have one spoon everyday even when I pass away. Words of Allah always has beneficial reflection on us when we do it. Almighty knows what would benefit us because he's the one who created us from nothing to creatures." I didn't get the honey Miracle, but I kept on practising her will because I know she knows better. As I think she never heard the scientific facts of honey, but she believed of it when she witnessed its benefits. Thus, years later I got it when I read a scientific article speaks for my religion's book that exits since 609 CE has revealed the benefits of honey before scientists even discover its components. The article hit my heart when it said it wasn't the honey only. The embryo formation from A-z, Iron sent down from space, pulsating stars, sea not mingling with one another in the Gulf of Alaska..etc. So I found there were tears fell unexpectedly. - Description extracted from one of my upcoming Novels. ;)

#4 in highschoollovestory on 11/2/2020 ****This book starts off with the present time of a wedding and reveals a hidden love story**** Now, going to be married, Sairah reminisces about her past love story. Sairah's a hijabi... and life as a hijabi isn't easy at Kendale High School. Sairah is witty, sarcastic, modest and beautiful. She receives looks of admiration, and hatred because of her loyalty to her religion. However, one day someone takes things too far... Ahmed, the new kid was also Muslim and had just moved to LA. He's bold, charming, egoistic, handsome, and sometimes gets a little too in over his head. However, when Sairah's and his path clash insults are exchanged and so is flattery. Learn the eventual result of these two hot-headed Muslims and where life takes them... Both start off with a rather teasing and sarcastic friendship, but time leads them into something more-- something beautiful. ************************************************************************************************ "Now? Now I have to deal with you throwing all your hard work for a girl! A girl Ahmed! A girl!" He emphasizes 'girl' with annoyance and disappointment. I clench my jaw getting heated. "Dad she is NOT some girl okay! I love her and she loves me! She is more than just some girl!" I soften my tone, "dad I love her okay and I'm not leaving NYU because of her. I'm not even thinking about NYU for her. And for our future together." I try to reason with my dad who is shaking his head in disbelief. "Ahmed I know you care about her okay. There's nothing wrong with falling in love-- unless she's taking you away from your life plan!" My dad explains visibly frustrated. "Dad, it was never my life plan to begin with. It was yours!" I run a hand through my hair. ************************************************************************************************ ALSO, THIS STORY IS A TAD RELIGIOUS BUT IT IS FICTIONAL
