The Edifice

Guinevere Ashner wakes up to a new world. Her life isn't flipped upside down...it's thrown around and shaken all over the place. She can't rely on the reassuring words that falsely comfort her at every blink of the eye. There is no way this nightmare could be any better than that. She hears the rumors and suspects the worst. Guinevere is different. She needs to escape, find her family, and get everything back to how it was before. What she fears the most is acceptance. That maybe, just maybe, her past was worse than her future. This can't be real and nothing will distract her. She has always fixed the problem, maybe this a problem too big to be fixed.
