In ancient history of Wolves, there will always these two rivals: Snow Wolves and Shadow Wolves.
Shadow Wolves were very abundant, while the Snow Wolves was abundant too, but always outnumbered by Shadow Wolves.
In late 1200's, the King/Alpha of the Shadow Wolves discovered that his mate was a Snow Wolf, the mate of the Shadow Wolf suddenly got paired to a new wolf, which made the Alpha of the Shadow Wolves furious, he blamed the Moon Goddess, the Snow Wolf pack for telling the Moon Goddess to make his mate be paired to a new wolf.... He obviously jumped to conclusions...
He Alpha attacked the Snow Wolves along with his greatest warriors.... In one blink of an eye, The whole Snow Wolf was extinct...
But Nooo..... The Moon Goddess thought that Shadow Wolves should be given a second chance, so she let them live a normal life, but every thousand years she would make a Snow Wolf, not in the same time but she would wait until the old one died...
The Snow Wolf which has powers was feared by the Shadow Wolves because the Moon Goddess said
"But the Prophecy holds, one day a Snow Wolf shall rise and reclaim its throne..."
So it was of great tradition for the Shadow Wolves to hunt down Snow Wolves and kill them... but every time they killed one there would be a blizzard which will last for days.
But this modern years... The Prince/Alpha of the Shadow Wolves discovered that the Princess/Alpha of the Snow Wolves... and the one who will fulfill the Prophecy against the Shadow Wolf race....
Will he be forced to kill the Princess... I f he does, it's like killing your half... but is she worth to be with , just to betray his Race, his ancestors and his own blood...

In the meantime while the Alpha finds his usual innocent but breathtaking mate, it is as if the rest of the pack's lives have been put on hold. I mean as long as the alpha and Luna are living in satisfaction who gives a crap about the people who helped contribute to make sure they're happy. What about the Beta who usually has to drop whatever he has going on to assist the Alpha to protect his mate? What about the members of the pack who are ranked lowest, because of what? Genes?
