"Why can't you just love me?" She spoke, as she cried the tears of hurt, and pain. Her heart thumped loudly due to the shivering sensation She felt all over her body. "I never made a commitment to you, or gave you any false hope, neither did i say that i love you. Did i?" He asked her, in a very cold tone. She looked at him through her teary eyes. It's getting difficult for her to even breathe. "It was your eyes, the damn eyes. Who gave me the false hope. They say, "Eyes speak the truth," but what about mine? Couldn't you feel the sincerity within them, expressing my deep affection for you? Why didn't you see the love shining in them? Was it too complex to understand? Couldn't you notice the warmth as they gazed at you? They search for you in every corner, If only you realized how they silently echoed the emotions I couldn't articulate. They say, "Eyes never deceive." But what about yours? They played a trick on me when they met mine, painting a facade of a world that wasn't real. "Have you no heart?" He stopped. Sayf turned abruptly to face her, feeling as every word she spoke got to his nerves. "What in the name of Allah is wrong with you?" he asked with a sigh. "Are perhaps mentally impaired?" he asked again trying to be clear. "If I was I wouldn't be here in the first place" she voiced narrowing her eyes on him. Yes, he insulted her but that was the least of her problems. She will have to avenge at a more convenient time later. "Then leave" he seethed glaring directly at her. "Stop challenging me" she said holding her waist with both hands. He hissed and started walking away majestically. He was so done wasting his words on her. Tauhida groaned and murmured softly beneath her breath but it didn't remain unheard to him "Koh dutse ne kai albarka" she said and he found himself smiling weirdly to no one in particular. ~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~ Just like scattered stars trying to cluster again, just like the scars trying to heal with love, just like the swirling storm breaking down all bounds and just like the blinking starlight shining on a mirror, this story is also a mirror of life. Cold secrets will be clamped just like the break of dawn. Despite all odds, underneath their ventricles and atria is an undying love for each other.
