Melissa Hammond was John Hammond's second youngest granddaughter. When the events of Jurassic Park happened, she was only 19. Now, at the age of thirty-two, she's heading to Jurassic World. Worried that her grandfather's dream is going to go completely wrong again, she goes to the park, expecting to only see small handful on of dinosaurs.
