Just because i do not fit:
Your perfect little mould.
The perfect little girl.

Not who you want me to be.
Because i have my own ideas?
My own problems?
Because I'm not a perfect copy?
You call me a burden.
Disappointment.
Whatever else you think of me.
But i am not that.
And do not care to be.
I am more than money,
More than prestige,
More than some twisted image of your perfection.
I am me.
And i will always be.
Just. Me.
I live my own dreams,
Separate from what you would have me be.
I have my own friends,
Who love me just for me.
I am more than the cage you have always put me in.
I am wild.
I dream of freedom.
And i will fly.
Independently.
Gone.
Away from you.
As soon as i can.
But until my freedom i can take,
Know this:
I will be who none but i wish to be.

Trapped in my own head
She is an outcast. She finds it easier to express what she feels in the form of writing. Whether it is poems, letters or long texts. These are poems that she writes trying to describe how it feels to live with certain mental health issues, in a world that disregards outcasts. So, these are on the darker side of the spectrum. Some poems might be distressing for some readers. I personally enjoy consuming dark content, it's kinda like a coping mechanism. I really hope none of you relate with any of these :) I'll be posting only poems here, I'll try to be as active as I can. The poems are not in any order. A Weight off My Mind - Time to Live
Regardless of size, putting your life on hold until you reach that perfect weight, does no one any good. This will be my collection of poems reflecting on societies obsession with weight and size and the effect this has on us and how we can change this.
