Island Komalia is an island, isolated from the rest of the world. It is an island where archaic culture still ruled over civilization.
Like every morning, John wakes up, but this time he wakes up only to find out that his mom has eaten up his siblings, literally!
It all begins when his mother attempts to cure a flu disease. But on her attempt for cure, she gets infected with a z-virus, turning her into something gruesome, a Zombie.
With the virus spreading almost as fast as wildfire, John knows time is running out, people want him dead. No one is safe, infact there is no such word as 'safe'.

We all were hiding in random places, apparently any place we could find. There were a ton of zombies, the whole place was full of them. Many people from our group were lost to the virus. Muffled voices, blurred vision and heavy breathes were heard. The ship which everyone had longed for soon arrived. The plan was to run to the ship and never look back. The ferry was anchored at the harbor and on the signal, everyone ran for their precious lives, not daring to look back. Some people couldn't make it in 'The End' . The ones who survived were the last of us. Will the people make it in time? What hardships will they encounter along the way? Zombies were said to be impossible, that they'd never happen, well obviously whoever said that had underestimated human curiosity. It started with the melting of the Poles, which uncovered diseases that hadn't been seen in millennia. Obviously, when a flesh-eating parasitical virus was found, scientists in all their glory decided to study it, which led to the greatest calamity in human history. Warning: This is the original book 1, it is now considered more of a prelude/building character relationships arc than a book. This provides backstory and sets the foundation for the characters and their relationships. The action starts in the new book 1 - Migration. - TW: Gore, Cursing, Death, etc. Not recommended for anyone who can't stomach gore or other zombie stuff or LGBTQ+. The world has been hit by an abominable disease. Everyone over the age of 15 got sick and started eating people. But is it a disease or did this happen on purpose? Did a scientist make this happen? The disease seemed to be spread through infection if a diseased person bites you.
