Or, keep working, live with his sister, but possibly risk the idea of a home. Sam doesn't want to make this decision. As time flies past him, he lets a girl he usually serves at the shop stay with him at his apartment because she ran away from her rich family. Noticing how he differs from others, she offers him help. She has a dream to work as a famous designer in America, and if the two worked together, they'd both get what they want. This is a book of an adolescent trying to find a home, no matter the cost; life or limb, danger or abandonment. But what if something interfered with their story? Would he find his home? Katelyn has been in and out of the foster system since her mother died when she was young. After her father gets put in jail again, she gets sent to live with the Thomas family. The Thomas's are a very well-off family with four boys. Their house is usually the main hangout for the boys and their friends. Kate hasn't ever lived with siblings before, let alone this many boys, so it's a big change for her. Daniel is your typical high school football player; he's got the looks, the muscles, talent, and even the overbearing dad who wants him to go pro. Daniel, however, really couldn't care less about a career in football, he loves the game, but it's his dad's dream for him to go pro, not his own. At least not anymore. He spends most of his free time away from his house and hanging out at either the Thomas or the Copperfield house. He can't wait to go off to college with his friends and get away from his dad and the stupid little town he grew up in. How will things change for them over the next year? This will be a series of 4, but the other books will be spin-offs and can be read as stand-alone books. They will, however, be published in chronological order. Full warning, this book is much shorter than I intend on making the spin-offs. I was planning on writing book two as the first in the series but found myself needing more of a prequel to all three other books, and so I chose to write something from their high school years. I put on a show only for him in front of hundreds of people. I bring one hand up to my hair flicking them to the other side, trailing that hand down to my sternum and then my boob as I keep swaying my hips from to side, bending my knees as I lower myself a bit to the ground before sharply standing up again and slowly spinning around, circling my hips. I run my hands through the back of my hair before nailing my gaze on his eyes, slowly walking up to him. I watch him as he wets his lips before biting his plumb bottom one, eyes trailing up my body. Once I reach him, I wrap my arms around his neck and run my fingers through his hair as I press my body up against his. His hands shoot out to grab me from my lower waist, pulling me even closer to him as he pushes a leg between mine, staring into my eyes. I turn my head to the side and brush my lips against his ear before licking and biting his earlobe the same way I did at the party before whispering a few words he was dying to hear. And, I thought how incredibly awkward it would have been for a teenage girl to do all of those scenes if she had been any less self assured and professional than Joey King is. So , I set my story in a high school that was putting on the play the Kissing Booth, and made my own characters with their own insecurities and struggles.
