NOUN
1.a place or situation where one feels safe or at ease and without stress:
"times when we must act beyond our comfort zones"
Reagan Ward lived in her comfort zone; never taking a chance and stepping out of it, never changing. But now she is forced to accustom to one of the biggest changes of her life: college. She thought that it would at least be a little easier with her best friend, Madi Brookes, by her side as her roommate. Unfortunately for Reagan, Madi has different plans. She doesn't want to be roommates with her bestie of 18 years, instead she wants to room with someone else and "meet new people". This changes everything. Not only was she beginning her first year at college, but now she was also starting it alone.
Already 3 trillion steps out of her comfort zone, Reagan struggles to make everything normal again by locking her self up in her dorm room, eating her weight in peanut butter, and watching Netflix on her laptop. Slowly, she starts to shrink back into her comfort zone, under the illusion that nothing will be changing, not very much, at least. This stays true, but only for a bit.
Everything changes, once again, when Reagan bumps into Calum... Literally. Calum is nothing like the obstacles Reagan has had to face in the past, since they all had disappeared over time. What made Calum different was that he wouldn't go away. He was always there. Whether he be in the back of her mind or right in front of her, he was always there. And he was full of surprises, another thing Reagan strongly disliked.
Will Calum be able to draw Reagan out of her secluded life, or will she forever be stuck in her comfort zone?

"There's no way to shut me up unless I get what I want and I get it my way," she stated stubbornly.
"Oh really?" Calum challenged. The girl shrugged. He grabbed her hand and pulled her into his chest.
He bent down to attach his lips to her ear, sending chills down her spine and adrenaline into her bloodstream. "I could think of better ways. Especially since you want to keep moving that mouth of yours,"
Their relationship can only be described as full of spite, rage, sarcasm, and pity. Elise finds herself in for a ride when she finds out the new Australian playboy is moving into her neighborhood. She promises herself that she wouldn't fall for his ways. She has too much to focus on: school, work, family, and her father; who was recently involved in a tragic accident.
Summer is ending. School has begun. It's no surprise to Elise when she sees a new girl in his bedroom every other night. She plans to think nothing more of it but the playboy planting his seeds. But as a sequence of events forces Elise and Calum to get along, Elise finds herself building a new path, possibly a more beneficial one. And Calum finds within himself something he's never experienced before; feelings.
