“Listen Sam,” she says leaning forward, resting her elbows on the table and looking into my eyes, “I know you don’t know me and I know I sound really creepy but you have to trust me. Tonight, in about six hours, two men are going to break into your house, kidnap you, maybe the rest of our family, beat you, and kill you. If you don’t want to die, and I’m guessing you don’t, you have to come with me and work for the person I work for to pay off a debt your family owes, but I know you’re not going to do that so, I’ll be waiting in the park parking lot,”she picks up her book and her cup of coffee like she’s having the most casual conversation in the world. “Also I wasn't really supposed to tell you that, so for future reference, just in case, I didn’t say any of that. Have a nice day, and my name is Ally by the way” she offers me a smile then turns and walks out.
