I was running for my life through a dense forrest. I saw the creature faintly. I saw razor sharp teeth, giant claws, my friend Billy in his mouth, and a glowing piece in his chest. I ran as fast as I could until I found myself at a cliff. I turned around to see nothing. Nothing but Billy. I started talking to him but no response. He answered back, " Things are not as they seem" then everything went black.

I woke up to find myself locked in a cage in a dark cave. I heard Billy's voice , but it was a whisper. I heard the phrase " Things are not as they seem" again but no one was there. I found away to escape the cage after an hour. After I found a way out of the cave there was a sign " Things are not as they seem" was written in blood. The forrest was in sight. I remembered what I had previously saw in the forrest but I went for help. I got to the cliff and found the monster eating Billy at the bottom. The monster looked up at me then jumped over fifty feet to my position. The monster spoke " Things are not as they seem" then I saw him jump to me. It was black again.

That was when I woke up to find me in my bed. I sighed in relief it was just a dream. I then pulled the covers to get out of bed, but I found Billy's head in my bed. I screamed for my mom to come and help. My door slowly creaked open. I saw claws on the door. I then realized it was not a dream. My nightmare was reality.
