Finding Me

College is about finding yourself, creating yourself. That happens to be a lot more difficult when you're incredibly shy and miserably anxious. My name is Mia Kadence. It is my freshman year of college and let's just say, the transition has been harder than expected. Let me give you a little background to paint a clearer picture. I'm shy, anxious, and awkward to the point of embarrassment. I don't make friends easily and I don't like talking to strangers. I'm quiet, yet thoughtful; positive, yet worried; caring, yet...lonely. I thought I knew who I was, but this is just the beginning. This is how I find myself. This is my story of embarrassment, laughter, first love, broken hearts, loneliness, passion, determination and so much more. This is my story of finding and creating who I am.
