Dawn Fitts is a 17 year old girl in high school. Her father gets a new job, and her family has to move. So, she has to go to a different school, in the middle of the year. She's the new girl again.
Dawn goes to the new high school, and she hated it. She couldn't get through one period. Those children bullied her. They teased her, and called her names. So, she went back home. Now, she has to get homed-schooled.
One day, Dawn decided to take a walk in the neighborhood. She took the walk at night. I know, you're probably thinking that's dangerous, but it wasn't. She spotted someone, or something............ hiding behind a light pole.
She asked the figure to come out. The figure revealed itself. It was a vampire named, Treydan. She saw that he had bruises, and burns on his face. She asked him how did they get there. He didn't say.
