Counting Strides is a story about a young girl in high school, Bree, harnesses her powers of shape-shifing; into a horse! Her spirit horse is a feisty, spirited, young Arabian mare named Luna. She is pure, silk white with a silver flowing mane. She competes in showjumping as a horse, and even more nerve-racking, she has a giant competition coming up! She must win the Browngrass Jumping Event, her owner is determined to win, but Bree has to be in human form to complete school work. Will her auspicious powers get in the way of a normal life?
