• kamyle was only 12 years old when she watched her mother disappear before her eyes. how could she; kahmyle, be left in the care of a man so vile - so disturbed? so disgraceful? he, who she could become. no one intervened, so maybe; that's why? maybe because everyone carried on like it was normal - like she wasn't just a little girl. he should've been dead a long time ago. kahmyle's father is a monster. a vile and disgusting man. he had the nights of houston in the palm of his hands - money flows. money knows. and when the days arose, the curtains closed. the sun lights up the streets which he sweeps to keep the nights right - taking girls who wont put up a fight. when the sun comes up, all tears run dry and the music stops - so the girls rest their weary hearts. even their dawn, dusks'. the sun goes again, and the girls' day begins. on & on. & on & on. when will enough be enough? face uncomfortable truths and dip into the minds of the used, neglected, and abused.
