Natalia Quinn has lived in La Push, Washington all her life. She was raised solely by her mother. Her father, Charlie Swan, was never involved with her life. Heck, they've never officially met!

When Natalia was fifteen, her mother was diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer. Refusing to take chemotherapy because of the costs, Natalia's mom became bedridden and had to stay at the hospital all the time.

Unable to pay the bills, Natalia had to move in with the Lahote family. She lived with them until her mother passed away almost a year later.

Because of legal disagreements, the court ordered for Natalia to have to live with her biological father till she was eighteen. Natalia did not take too nicely to this.
