Brenda was never afraid.
Things like the dark didn't faze her, nor did the vicious animals known as cranks. She was tough. She worked for WICKED, everyday of her extraordinary life.
But after being dropped into the sandy wasteland called the scorch, Brenda changes. Her and Jorge must fight, savage and play off as the zombie like monsters,cranks to survive the living hell they were forced into.
But then Brenda and Jorge stumble upon group of boys. Scratched, beaten and dying boys who happened to escape WICKED'S first trial... The maze. Then the boys offer something Unimaginable to anyone else. A cure to the devastating virus known as the Flare.
Brenda fights for survival among a group of boys dealing with love and betrayal.
