The outcome of the battle for Flameberg is clear; the kiwi army has claimed an unlikely victory. Soal and Porter continue to lead them across the Outlands, but both the Un-Character and Retna feel that Articulus is taking advantage of them. As Shadow Hand resumes his plot to kill the Un-Character and help Articulus reach the Genesis Stories, Porter takes the kiwi military towards the three Ruins of the Ages, where clues to defeating Articulus lie. Meanwhile, Soal treks alone through evil-infested territory to find the key to their success. But Articulus's forces are growing faster than ever before, and Soal is the only one who can stop them.

After all, Sonic's tipped the first domino and it was the kind of race even he couldn't outrun. Miles Quaritch failed his first mission to kill Jake Sully. Now, Bridgehead Command has a new mission for him and his surviving recoms, Wainfleet and Mansk. A mission to gather intel and make an alliance with the newly contacted Ash People, a Na'vi clan endemic to a volcanic archipelago. What's at first just orders will slowly come to change the young Colonel's life and his relationship with Pandora, his son, his enemies, and the RDA forever. Part 1 in the Avatar, A New Mission series. This large, slow-build story is essentially an Avatar 3 (with heat and flare!) through Miles Quaritch's eyes after the events of the Way of Water and continuing his parallels with Jake Sully. The story really expands to a movie-sized scope as it goes on. Features Miles' existential crisis and also flashbacks to when Spider was with the 1st Recom Unit. Recoms Lyle Wainfleet and Mansk are also greatly developed. Did my best to be logical and reasonable with the in-movies set canon, and sequel foreshadowing. There are a *few* instances of eventual smut, but there are content warnings and it is kindly written to be skippable if that's not your thing! : )

{Book Three in the Sketch Trilogy} Articulus's army has been split in two. The first half, led by the Dark Lord himself, fled from the Scright Gardens towards the west, upon the defeat of Shadow Hand and his Dark Hand army. They rested in Rogodon for a time, until they sensed a rebellion great enough to get on the move once more. The second half, which was mainly Dark Soldiers occupying the Great Sea, had been chased into the southern Outlands during the Reclaiming, in which Soal and the army returned to where they had started their grand quest. Now, as the Congress of Kiwis approaches, Mervis and his followers become secretive, and Porter the Voltale continues to hold the truths from his trainee. When a terrible attack is declared, Soal and a small band of kiwis set out to destroy the Blade of Dark Light once and for all. As other adventures into the Outlands ensue, Articulus's power grows considerably, and there is only one who can stop him. The Un-Character, however, is surviving in a world of mystery, and is confronted with his most difficult decisions as the end of the war draws near. This is the defining final chapter of the Sketch Trilogy, but in order to read it, you must first read The Sketch: The Voyage of Soal, the first installment, and then its continuation, The Sketch: The Advancement of the Hands. {Book Two of the Sketch Survivors Trilogy} After the Rooted Spire burned and Lint Corp betrayed our Un-Characters, they now know the dark side of Lint Corp. The First Brigade has been separated, though- Soal chasing Moth into the flaming Spire, Renyrocrattus taken away to be studied, and the rest of the Brigade taken away by Lint Corp for strange experiments. Through a quick succession of events, Soal joins the Revolutes; a large organization of rebellious Un-Characters who evaded Lint Corp and clashed with them in the Sketch Facility for years. Their leader, the elusive Green Phantom, is intent on reaching Fort Whal in the outskirts of a Sketch called Iminentia before Lint Corp arrives to take back the Un-Characters they lost. She notices Soal quickly, but doesn't take him into account until a harrowing event. When their legion of Revolutes finally reaches Fort Whal, Lint Corp mounts a serious attack on the fortress. A desperate struggle begins as Soal uncovers Lint Corp's lies and secrets about his past; and a new goal appears in Soal's mind: stop Lint Corp. What from? He doesn't know, but the tension is escalating, and the fate of the Sketch Worlds, the Un-Characters, and Soal's life are all at stake.
