Without any family willing to take him, and the police unable to locate his sister, Bobby gets clearance to give the child a roof over his head. Buck is a young adventurous firefighter who loves the people in his house like his family, but when the new guy shows up he feels he is being replaced. However the feelings Buck has for Eddie are confusing and not all bad. How will he keep these feeling under control in such a dangerous job? Eddie is an ex military vet, with a son who is full of life. In the light of an accident Eddie begins to notice his heart pulling for Buck. However he is not sure how that will work with his life.
