Shifters. Mythical beings of the modern world, with powers to transform into animals. Most of them who are able to shift into wolves live in Packs on remote islands, just like normal wolves. But even then, some of the special ones can shift into other animals, also.
Oak Winterpaw is one of them, and the son of Wind Pack's Alpha, Stone Winterpaw. He must struggle with the fact that though his father wishes him to be the next Alpha of the Pack, Oak just wants to have freedom of choice and be a normal Shifter like all of his friends.
This book will follow Oak as he struggles with the choices of being Alpha-to-be. Will he deny his heritage and lead his life as an ordinary, adventrous Shifter, or accept his heritage and be a wise leader till the end of his days?
