Sydney Travis doesn't need her mate, and, frankly, she finds her friends with theirs rather disgusting. She is content with single life. Then, right before her father forces her to travel the world in search of him, he finds her. She expects him to be possessive. She expects him to be dominate. She expects him to be in a pack. She even figured he might be an Alpha, since she had Alpha blood in her. All her expectations shattered when she saw his eyes. Blood red eyes. He was nothing she could have anticipated.

Griffin is the alpha's son, and is getting ready to begin leading the pack, and all he needs is a luna, his alpha female, and when he finds her, she is the last person on earth who he would want to be mated to, Shayna, luckily, the feeling is mutual, and they both decide to forget about each other, but what happens when three years later Griffin desperately needs help, and the only option is going to the mate who he rejected, and who rejected him back. He has fought himself everyday trying to forget about her, trying to deny the bond, and he's finally done, Griffin wants her, but unfortunately, the feeling isn't mutual.
