Azalea and her sisters are the only children of the English king and are left to grow up without a mother due to French forces attacking their country's defense.

     In order to secure Azalea as queen and ensure the other princesses a good furture she and her sisters must seal their marraiges and leave the castle by the age of eighteen. With their time in the castle dwindling they strengthen their bond with dancing, an old past time from before their mother's death. With the help of their grandfather they find santuary in a unknown part of the castle that leads to a room in another dimension. There the sisters meet Henry, a lonly boy burried in his reading and poetry. With Henry and her sisters to lose, Azalea is torn between her duty and her heart.

In a court surrounded by murder and deceit Anne has to find her way. With a watchful eye on the queen she named witch and the king she feared to call friend, and only her own ambitions pushing her forward; Anne fails to notice the evil rising beside her, for her saviour is just as deadly as her capturer.
