~Emmett Bledsoe love fanfiction~ Aria Smith is a new hearing student at Carlton, Her Mom and Dad and little brother, Mikey, are all deaf. So she knows sigh language just as much as a regular deaf person, which is quite rare in this day and age. Emmett, a quiet motorcycle riding bad boy, meets the giggly, and anxiety ridden Aria. What happens? Nobody knows. Well unless you choose to read. ;) <A/N: part of this story (the beginning) was written when I was younger and a much less experienced writer. If you read on to the more recent chapters I promise you, I am ultimately more literate and less cringey. Apologies in advance. 😂>

She's fighting to survive. He's given up on caring. But when their worlds collide, neither of them will ever be the same. Aria Delaney has mastered the art of pretending. Pretending her home isn't crumbling under the weight of debt, neglect, and anger. Pretending the bruises on her heart don't exist. By day, she's the straight A scholarship girl who keeps her head down and her books close. By night, she escapes to a secret bridge in the woods her only real safe haven. Jace Callahan is everything she hates: wealthy, reckless, and untouchable. Tattooed, motorcycle riding heartbreaker of Linwood Academy. Everyone either wants him or wants to be him. But Aria only remembers the boy who slammed a door in her face after mocking her father's firing then dragged her name through the mud on her first day at her new school. They're enemies, plain and simple. Until forced proximity, simmering tension, and late night run ins start to blur the line between hate and something more dangerous. Because beneath the smirks and insults, both of them are hiding secrets. And when broken meets broken beneath the bridge... Something unbreakable might just form.
