In the year 1876, little eight year old Clementine Jones was an exceptionally imaginative little girl, and quite intelligent as well. Having been raised by her single father, Dr. David Jones, in an extraordinary Victorian University on the coast of Bergeson Goland, she could help but take in the wisdom brewing everywhere around her. But when Headmaster Tibble proudly announced that Dr. Jones, who he had had it out for, for reasons quite unclear to Clementine, would be head of an extraordinary study of human behavior, it had opened a wonderful gateway into a rather unusual friendship between a proper little girl, and an uncivilized beast child.
