After being promoted, Lucy, the new Master of Fairy Tail was forced to set out on a quest to retrieve a mythical necklace to heal Juvia, who was critically injured after their encounter with Zeref.

Little did they know that it would cause a greater loss. Lucy disappeared from after sacrificing herself for the sake of Natsu's life, up by using Virgo's ability in exchange for her life force.

Years later, during the Grand Magic Games, a girl in black cloak came and halted the game. The Fairy Tail was forced to fight her. During that, they found out that it was because of Zeref that made her do such thing. 

The last thing to they can ever do for Lucy is to defeat the Black Wizard and set her free again.

By the way, I don't own anything except for the fiction. Everything is under the ownership of Hiro Mashima, the Fairy Tail writer/animator.
