Growing up my childhood wasn't like any other. I thought it was normal at the time, but other little boys and girls grew up differently. It never occurred to me that I was different. I've never seen my face; my mother doesn't allow it. I'm fine with it however, she's only doing it for my protection. As the saying goes, what you don't know doesn't hurt you. If I don't know how I look it can't hurt me. I used to ask questions about it when I was younger, but now it doesn't cross my mind much. I guess every family is different.
