Evil that should have died with Sauron lives on and thrives in the shadows. A new hero must rise and destroy it before everyone and everything in Middle Earth perishes and fades into nothingness...

The Odyssey of the daughter of the forest
In the dark forest of Mirkwood, shadows are growing, again and again. The leaves are becoming black, as the roots, and as the trees. Birds are not singing anymore. Flowers have disappeared. Even the sun has trouble to light the ground of the forest, once so alive and full of colours. A young elf with red hair is fighting every day for her people, who is retreating before its enemy, who is sending his troups from his black tower, in the south of Middle Earth. Orcs are coming, more and more numerous on their lands. The company of Thorin Oakenshield from the Blue Mountains will not succes to put an end to this invasion. Their fight will just postpone the deadline, by sacrifying many lives, and destroying many others. And by seperating for a while the path of two lovers, who are destined to meet again. Sixty years later, the elf joins the fellowship to save Middle Earth, once and for all, from the threat that are gliding above its people, for a long time. The Ranger And The Prince.
Sapphire is an orphan elleth whom was brought up by dwarves in the Mines of Moria. Now she wanders the wilderness of Middle-Earth as one of the most skilled rangers ever known. With her skill with both bow and blade as well as the axe and daggers, she is sought out by Lord Elrond to attend a meeting of all the great races in Rivendell. There she meets Aragon, an old friend or hers who is a fellow ranger and she also makes the acquaintance of a dwarf, an elven prince, four hobbits, a wizard and two men. Along with her trusty wolf companion, Nasha, and her horse, StarLight, Sapphire is swept up in a quest to save Middle-Earth. She forges long lasting friendships with those around her and finds herself getting close to the elven prince even though they start as rivals. This is a Legolas love story but if any of you have read my other fan fictions then you know I love character development and so this is likely to take a long time to get started. Also, I know there are like a billion fan fictions with the same plot, that being a female elf who is part of the fellowship and ends up falling in love with Legolas. I know every fan fic is basically that plot repeated over and over again but I just said, 'what the hell, if you can't beat them, join them' so I made this.Complete
