Humanity was divided into ranks. They are judged according to their rank at the age of 16, They would go before the "council" to show their capabilities and abilities. They would get ranked in thei true blood.
They are four ranks namely:
Bellus Castus- These are the saints of the land. They are seen as the purest and most honest of them all. They are the leaders of the land, only the royal, though the peasants are also highly respected. They believe everyone should live according to the Fate's law. They set high expectations and they believe everyone should follow suit.
The Valens- These are the protectors of the land. They follow the law of Zeus, which is the one which everyone on the land abides and respects. It is used to punish and discipline the people. They do not look eye to eye with Castus at times but they do tolerate each other.
The Phila Eros- The affectionate, loving and vocalists in the land describes these people. The majority of the population consists of homosexuals (hoots). They believe in giving equal rights to everyone, though the fates would not allow such to happen. The "council" however are the ones who make the decision.
The last but certainly not least is the Ferus- They are the the baddest of them all. THe peasants are known as the" Angels of Death", they can bring intolerable and dreadful suffering to the other ranks if they dare cross paths with them but they are barriers which were created by the "council" so they do not abuse this power since they are the FERUS= Sinners. The royal however are identified with the mark of Alvah on the side of their neck. This is two black and red dots tattooed beside each other but with a small space in between which has a staff, this staff has two serpents that have coiled each other and the two heads are at the top with its sharp fangs exposed.
The council- This is a society of members from each rank of thr royal family. This was instilled by the fates to try and maintain peace amongst the districts.
Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
