I'm a pretty busy person, so before I try to get into longer, more detailed stories, I've decided to put out a few short ones to give you a feel for my writing style. This particular story was an assignment given by my history teacher. I know that not all of the facts are correct, but the assignment required only two true facts about each of the two battles. This story is from the perspective of a colonist. Soon, myyankeesthinkinghat should put up the same story, but from the point of view of a Native American. Please don't plagiarize, I know I wrote it. Also, I wasn't really there. The main character and Native American are from myyankeesthinkinghat and my imaginations, along with Matthew, Gabriel, and a few others.

"The world around her swam with mottled light. How long had she been fighting?" So...in sixth grade we took this computer-skills class. Our final test was to write a short story in Microsoft Word. My story ended up fleshing out into the trilogy I am working on and planning to publish at somepoint in my life, but I realized how incredible my writing skill has improved between just the two or three years. So, I decided to re-write the original sequence of a short story, same plot and characters, just with current skill. Comments and feedback are appreciated, please enjoy!
