It was a warm and pleasant afternoon, and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. The birds were chirping, and the sky was painted an azure blue. The sun shone brightly, and it rolled off the hills and dappled everything in light. Life was perf -
"ITALYYYY!"
A thunderous yell echoed through the forest, and you sighed. Another distraction. And not a good one - your brother, to be exact. Or at least, you thought so. Feli used to constantly get in trouble for something he had messed up or done wrong. Today was probably not an exception. You picked your suitcase off the ground, and continued down the trail to the Italian's home.
As soon as you came to the clearing, you saw that there was a man chasing Veneziano. Why was he was chasing your brother? What kind of man was so violent to someone so obviously good-hearted?
"Hey! You there! Stop pestering my brother!" you yelled. Your command had just the effect it needed - both men stopped running at once. Crying and confused, Veneziano took awhile to recognize you, until he came charging at you in typical brotherly, Veneziano-fashion.
"Y/N!" Running at you in full speed, Veneziano didn't give you enough time to brace for the impact, and you fell, hard. When the wind came back into your lungs, you erupted into a fit of giggles. Hugging your brother closely to you, you cried openly as the warm smell of him came back to you. Memories came rushing back to you - riding your bike with Veneziano; playing hide-and-go-seek; the first time you tried pasta with him; bruises, and bumps, and lullabies, and songs, and laughter...
As all the memories flooded your brain and overwhelmed you, you finally unlatched your heart of its burdens.

Aarna never thought two pink lines could shake her world.
She stood frozen, staring at the test in her trembling hands. Pregnant. A word she had longed to hear, yet feared the most.
Would he accept it? Or would he push her away again, just like before?
The door creaked open. Her heart pounded.
Sharad's sharp gaze met hers. "What are you hiding?"
Her breath hitched. She wasn't ready for this. Not yet.
