So after reading an endless amount of fanfictions where Tris comes back to life, I decided to write one where she doesn't. Not that we all don't want her to come back to life, but I wanted to write something different.

After Tris' death, Tobias decides to return to all the places him and Tris hold special memories in an attempt to fill the emptiness she left behind. Each place he visits takes him one step closer to closure as he remembers everything him and Tris shared before he allows himself to be left with nothing but a loving memory.

She kills David before he can kill her and releases the serum. Soon after, she moves into the city with Tobias and some of the other refugees. They find out that they will be expecting but the plan for a family is cut short when they are kidnapped, brought to The Milwaukee Experiment, and are wiped of their memories. Tris' memory is spared due to her divergence but no one knows. She will have to escape the city with the ones she loves in order to create a lasting future for her and her child. This is a divergent fanfiction where there is no war and Four and Tris are training initiates. It also takes place one year after Tris's initiation. So how will she communicate with him? Or will she just stay in the shadows, watching over Tobias, watching him fall in love all over again? What if they found a way to be together again?
