Just a stone throw away from my front door is the cross roads. This is the sudden stop where the houses end and thick bushes of thorns and overgrown grass emerge. Where the white lines in the middle of the road stopped and the green moss began. The street lights would give way to darkness.
This is a short story based on true event.

I hear footsteps behind me and i run trying to avoid trees as my heels hit the ground like echo location i can see vibrations in the ground i can see living things trees bushes i can even see the bugs digging under the dirt.
