Avenged Sevenfold have begun to carve a place for themselves in the music industry, and all things seem to be looking up. But, during the process of making their fifth studio album, a tragedy befalls upon the group that will undoubtably change their lives forever.

Avery and Brian, both heartbroken and at a loss, begin to fall apart. Conversations begin to become blunt, and communications break down. Avery knows she's losing Brian, but she feels hopeless and weak, and feels unable to be able to save her boyfriend.

Desperate, Avery turns to Matt for help. But, the loss of their best friend has changed the pair in more ways they could've ever known, setting in motion a path leading to betrayal and heart-wrenching consequences that they can never come back from.

Unable to trust her own feelings, Avery must now set things right and pull herself, Brian and Matt out of the darkness and back onto the correct path.
