I had no where to go. Nothing left to do. And no one left to even care. I was... as anyone could put it... lost. And I didn't know what to do. I mean what could I have done? I barely even remember my own name or if I even had one. Didn't know who my family was, anymore. All i remember is running away from a blaze so bright, looking at it could make you blind. I remember tripping over roots and branches and hearing moans and screams behind me, but I didn't dare look back. I just kept on running.

She....I....... I was running through the thick branches, pushing the leaves out of my way with all my might. I had to get away. The wet, brown, ground made it easier for me to slip and let her red, chilling hands slip around my innocent, scarred body, not knowing where she would take me next. I was almost out of breath, but I had to keep running if I wanted to make it out of this forest alive. My red dress was getting torn to shreds, and my hands and feet had mud all over them. My long, bushy brown hair was getting hooked on every possible branch, making me push my hair in the back of my dress, just like I used to when I was forced to cook everyday for my loathsome 'parents'. Returning back to the real world, I had to stop otherwise I would black out. I took a few seconds to catch my breath silently, and to look around to see if she was there behind me. I was looking up at the tall, old tree when I heard a twig snap behind me. Just like in the horror films. I turned and ran in the same direction, not daring to look back and see her wretched face fixed on my body. I sprinted and sprinted, but slowed down when I saw I was heading to nowhere but a ragged cliff. The unknown would me known if I continued to run and jump. I stopped two metres away from the cliff and looked down to see a valley so far down. If I jump..... I die. If I let her take me..... the unfair horribleness awaits me. I had no choice. I was running, it was dark and there were tress everywhere. My long dark wet hair flying everywhere, it stuck to my face covering my eyes. I remember seeing a movie like this once. There was this girl and she was in a city and she was running from someone and she looked back to see if he was still chasing her and she tripped and fell. The guy got her and she thought he was going to kill her. I had always made fun of those girls cause if you were being chased you wouldn't look back you'd keep running. The ground was wet I could feel my feet sliding. I turn my head just enough to see if the creature was still behind me, I tripped over something hard and I fell to the ground face first. I sit down on my bike looking around the school parking lot. Listening to music, I stand up begin to walk through the student-less parking lot. Honestly, it's not like I meant to be late. All I want is to be alone. I wish that no one existed. My name is Zeina. I don't talk much. Not at all actually. Well not really. I sign or write things down in my notebook. I can speak. His faces flashes with regret but it's quickly covered up with his faces going back to it's hard cold look. I feel my heart stop and my face go pale. His look terrified me making me hold my breath. "Breath." He orders. I start to breathe again and just blink at him. "Now go." He orders me again. I flinch involuntarily at his tone and jump back slightly. "Please don't let me walk home alone." I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes. "I just can't walk home alone, please I'm scared." I hear him chuckle. "You aren't afraid of me? What can possibly be scarier than me?" He asks. "Well, I know you will keep me safe." "Why is that?"
