Dorothy has always been an odd little girl. Claiming that she heard voices summoning her to a land called OZ.
And there's always one phrase they repeat.
Ding Dong the witch is dead.

Dorothy has so many questions, especially when she learns her mother was a girl named Alice who was supposedly insane as well. Dorothy's life is in shambles, and suddenly a man appears.
He calls himself 'The Doctor'.
And he has all the answers.

I give most of the credit of the characters to the creators of DW and L. Frank Baum. RIP, Baum.

6 parts Complete

Sixteen year old Dorothy Gale was a foul-mouthed, angry young woman who struggled with depression, self-mutilation, and thoughts of suicide. Her darkness stemmed from finding her alcoholic mother dead one evening, forcing her to move to her uncle's farm in southern Kansas after learning that her biological father wanted nothing to do with her. She began smoking, cutting, and blowing-off her schoolwork, while dreaming of being anywhere but Kansas. But just when she didn't think her world could get any darker, she suddenly found herself in the clutches of a rapist, and as she tried to fight off her attacker, the storm that had been brewing around her began escalating to tornadic proportions. She was whisked away by the relentless winds, and when she awoke she found herself in a strange forest, soon discovering that as much as she hated Kansas, there were places that were much, much worse.
