The Light on the brink of destruction. The Darkness closing in. The creation of the Guardians has allowed the Light to press the Darkness back and even beat it. The Guardians killed Atheon, the massive Vex hidden in the Vault of Glass, destroyed the Heart of the Black Garden, killed Crota son of Oryx, and have killed the Taken King Oryx himself. The Guardians celebrate, but it is short lived, as a new threat arises, one that they aren't prepared for. How will the Traveler and the Guardians respond? What is the new threat? Will the Light ever truly defeat the darkness?
I do not own anything found in this fan fiction related to destiny, save a few of my own armor and weapon ideas. As well as any other references I use, they all belong to there rightful copyright owners

The Golden Age- When the Traveler arrived, a time of peace, prosperity, and infinite possibility sprouted from Earth. Mankind had launched hundreds- if not, thousands- of journeys across the system, connecting Mars, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, even Mercury into an increasingly large web of life and technology. The Hunters scout out terrain, reclaim Dead Zones, and are the eyes and ears of the City- the Warlocks research the secrets of the fundamental ideas of the Darkness, predict future events, and enthrall themselves in the workings of the Light to understand it and to find new ways to work it into the Guardians arsenal- and finally, the Titans, Defenders of the Last City, and the burning lights of hope in the shadows. Honor-driven. Leaders. Warriors. The Protectors of Humanity. Deeply intertwined in the history of the Last City. What happens when one is reborn and becomes one of the few able to wield the flame of hope as his own, to burn off the shackles of darkness that have been crushing humanity's will and hope to dust, What happens when he experiences so much tragedy, so much pain, that he delves into the shadows? A few months after the destruction of the Black Garden's heart, things returned to normal for the people of the tower. As normal as it could be anyway. However in the seventh week after it's destruction, a young boy arrives in the tower. He was broken, in tears. He tells the vanguard of a man with a hand cannon who killed his family. Destiny: War Of Sol - Book Seven
This story is the seventh in a ten-book series based on the video game franchise, "Destiny," developed by Bungie. The universe of Destiny is a science-fictional setting taking place in the future, where Humanity has been reduced to a singular city on Earth, and must rely on the Guardians, Humans who wield a power known as the Light, to defend them from various alien threats within the Sol system. This saga is NOT intended to be 100% lore accurate, and should be taken as an alternate timeline from the main canon. The primary purpose of this fanfiction is to re-tell the story that takes place in Destiny and its sequel, Destiny 2, but with a twist. The twist being that the playable "Guardian" character, who is known to be a blank-slate one-man-army amongst a roster of developed characters, is instead a team of multiple Guardians who all have their own backstories and personalities. The plot of this saga will follow the plot of the game its based on closely, but not exactly. There are a number of twists such as the main cast, as well as several other plot points, for the sake of originality, as well as to serve as an interesting narrative for those who are aware of Destiny's plot. The vault of glass. Often a debated topic by the warlocks of the upper order. Who built it? When was it built? Does it have a higher purpose? No one truly knows the answer. Another universe... Another Earth to be exact, one where it took them to what the Pre-Golden Age of Humanity looked like before the Traveler made its arrival to their solar system. In this new universe? He has no idea of the new journey he embarks himself on as he meets new allies who are heroes with or without superpowers, whether they're alien or not, and new enemies who are also human and alien, but nothing like he's ever faced before. But he also meets someone he ends up potentially falling in love with, a girl who is exactly his Guardian age of sixteen, the girl however... is an alien, a "Kryptonian".
