Rae has always wanted to leave her no for good town of Berlin, NH, and leave for schooling in the UK. And her dream finally comes true when she graduates high school and gets a scholarship to a college in London. When she arrives, she realizes it won't be as easy as she thought. But when she meets here dorm roommate Jess Sykes, a British freshman of the same college, she actually starts to believe she can make it in this world. Jess invites her to one of The Wanted's concerts and introduces her to her brother Nathan. But when Rae finds out that Jess is the sister of her idol, it begins to put a strain on her and Jess's friendship, and Nathan and Rae's friendship begins to grow a little too close for Jess's comfort.
