Calum Hood was the stereotypical jock in high school. He was the star of the football team and basketball team. The majority of his old classmates loved him, envied him, or wanted to be him. Now that he was at the University of Melbourne on a football scholarship, he was hoping to reach that status yet again. He wasn't going to university for the classes and academics; he was going to pursue his career in football. He wasn't a lame geek that was going to spend his weekends studying and doing boring homework that wouldn't benefit him. He wasn't going to let those nerds annoy him with their smarts either like he did in high school. Not to mention that he was a full-blooded frat boy. Classes and grades and nerds weren't about to get in his way of that. Ashton Irwin was considered a nerdy hipster. He was more into the arts and academics of things, his strong suit being English and art history. Not only that, but he had a passion for music as well. He was a talented singer that helped get him a full ride scholarship to the University of Melbourne, along with his exceptional knowledge in English. Though, he wasn't at all popular in high school. He was quite the opposite and he was okay with it. He didn't want to be popular and have his every move analyzed. It also meant that he would've had to hangout with the jocks, who he didn't like at all. Now, due to his uni class schedule, he would be free of the majority of the jocks and hopefully frat boys. They were bullies and he didn't want to have to be associated with any of them. He would make sure of that. Brian May led a simple but somewhat lonely life. He thought it was enough to own a record store and to dabble in his side interests. Photography, star gazing and writing songs and being with his close friends. His success in the dating world had hit an all time low and he had thrown in the towel. Little did he know his life was about to get turned upside down. When a famous music group is in town for some shows he has an unlikely encounter that not only shifts his future but literally and figuratively rocks his world. Roger Taylor is a bored and burned out rock star looking for something more meaningful in his life than one night stands both on the stage and in his bed. He meets someone who makes him question his future and his true desires. Will Roger risk everything to have something deeper than a top 40 single? Will Roger find what has truly evaded him for ages? Happiness.... This is a side trip from the traditional format for Maylor and takes place in an alternate universe away from Queen. I have borrowed some things from their real lives to enhance the story and give it some familiarity. I have not placed a time stamp on this story as my world contains music from the 70s, 80s and beyond. MTV exists in the way that it did in the 1980s. It was where he worked that he hated. He quickly learned that the good money didn't come from the honest and regulated strip clubs. The ones where if you touched a stripper a bouncer threw you to the curb. So he found a club in a London, one disguised as a Furniture store. It was for the upscale businessmen in London, they charged a hefty fee at the door and a lap dance was triple what you'd pay at a regular club. Dancer's would get naked for the right price. So that's what he hated; getting naked, wanking some bloke off, letting every inch of his body be touched all so he could pay for his degree. or Roger is a stripper at a sleazy upscale strip club just trying to pay for his degree and is quite taken with his TA Brian May.
