Revelations of a Monster

Loki has been banished to Midguard to be committed to 'Community Service'. While there he is put under the care and protection of a mutant by the name of Serenity. Loki is allowed to keep his magic, but is stripped of his god like strength and immortality. If he wishes to go home, he must manage to see the errors of his ways and have a complete change of heart. Though that in itself will be quite the task, can Loki manage to keep from strangling his over-the-top, easily spooked, completely gullible, and (not that he would openly admit it) extremely attractive caretaker? He quickly comes to term with a human philosophy that 'those who smile the most have the deepest scars'. Can Loki and Serenity learn to cope with their pasts? Will Loki become free from the Teseract permanently, or will he be enslaved til Kingdom comes? So many questions, and the only way to answer them, of course, is by reading!

"Ha-ha! Sorry about that! I swear these things keep moving on- GAH!!" Loki couldn't help but silently watch slack-jawed as Serenity fell for the third time going up the same set of stairs. Odin must not want him to survive this experience without a few scars if THIS was the mortal that was charged with his care. How was she supposed to keep him, a convicted master of magic, in line, when she could hardly walk without dropping every other minute?
