The human denies it, but he knows. The human already loves this girl. The wolf is sure, since the human is already attached, this female will help him regain control. She can set the wolf free. The wolf has decided his actions are worthy of a new cause, a more controlled cause, and he must be freed before it's too late to inform his human. He must get out before the human does something he might regret. It might be too late already, but he refuses to let his human kill what little chance he might have with this she-wolf.
