An apocalyptic story between two friends, Scar and Ash. They have a horrendous experience throughout the last of their days. They aren't sure how they'll make it, trying to live through the people that have become infected and/or lost their mind. 
Scar's parents are both dead, yet she gets clues as to how her father had died. Her mother died from a drunk driver, being parentless for the rest of her life.
Ash is a year younger than Scar. Ash is diabetic and begins to lose her supplements of insulin, giving her a hard time surviving the apocalypse.

The two friends run into a ton of trouble looking for a way to survive. The only thing they have is each other. Scar loves Ash with all her heart, but she's afraid to tell her. Ash sends Scar mixed signals as to if she likes her back or not.

But, if they wanted to take their relationship any further, they need to find a safe place to stay. Not inly that a cure for the infected or a place where the infected cannot enter.
