Sixteen year old Darius Johnson is an intelligent but lazy kid with no ambition, whose worries are limited to basketball, girls, and trying not to fail. One thing he is sure of is that he has a small knack for deduction, so when he and his best friend Richard "Rich" Chase find the body of a classmate, and Rich's older brother is the suspect, Darius takes it upon himself to try and solve the case, but not having the faintest idea of how to be a detective. So, the world famous detective Sherlock Holmes and his young protege Jamie Watson, daughter of John and Mary, decide to help the boy.
